Davido expresses gratitude to Atletico Madrid star for gifting him a wristwatch, emphasizing that it’s a rare occurrence for him to receive gifts.

Nigerian musician, Davido, expressed his delight over receiving a Rolex wristwatch gift from Atletico Madrid player, Memphis Depay.

The striker reportedly presented Davido with a multi-million naira Rolex wristwatch after the singer performed at his 30th birthday celebration recently.

Confirming the reports through his Instagram story, Davido mentioned that it was the first time he had ever received a gift, despite several Nigerian celebrities giving him cash gifts during his previous birthdays, which he later donated to charity. The singer further stated that he has always been the one to give gifts to others.

He wrote, “He bought me a Rolex on his own birthday! I’ve never received gifts; I’ve always been the one giving to others. I love and appreciate you @memphisdepay.”
