AMVCA 2025: Full List of Winners from the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards
The 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) took place on Saturday in Lagos, bringing together the continent’s most celebrated stars in television and film. The evening was a grand celebration of African storytelling, with both seasoned industry veterans and emerging talent vying for top honors across a range of competitive categories.
Among the night’s biggest wins, Chioma Akpotha claimed Best Lead Actress for her compelling performance in Seven Doors, while Femi Adebayo took home Best Lead Actor for the same film. Awam Amkpa was awarded Best Director for The Man Died, a powerful biopic on Wole Soyinka. The top honor of the evening, Best Movie, went to Freedom Way.
